Bhutan remains one of the best tourist destinations all year round but it is especially beautiful from October to December due to its fresh air and clear skies. January to February is for tourists who prefer colder temperatures and April to June remains dry and pleasant.

Bhutan Gate

The majestic Bhutan Gate that is located at the indo-Bhutan border town Pheuntsholing is a marvel of Bhutanese architecture. This gate is both historical and beautiful, the wooden architecture on it is amazing. This gate also serves as a divider between India and Bhutan.


Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centre

Situated along the bank of the river Amo Chhu in Pheuntsholing this crocodile breeding center is known for preserving and breeding endangered species of crocodiles. At this center, tourists can view these aquatic reptiles in their semi-natural habitat. Built in 1976 with only a dozen crocodiles this center has grown into a great tourist attraction.

Situated in Paro Tiger’s nest is one of the most popular places in Bhutan. This monastery is a sacred Buddhist site located on the cliffside of the upper Paro valley. The country of Bhutan doesn’t have any direct access to rail transport, so tourists can travel to a city in Dooars that’s close to Bhutan and then go by cab.
